CBD Oil Part 3: A Neuroprotector

Cannabidiol (CBD) is growing in popularity as the research is released on just how wonderful it can be for anxiety, pain, and chronic problems so many people suffer from. But the benefits aren’t just for those currently experiencing troubles. The research is overwhelmingly positive and links CBD to not only balancing the Immune system, but protecting the brain as well.I know you are thinking that this can’t be so. That marijuana disrupts brains cells; it can’t protect them. Remember that CBD is not the equivalent to consuming basic marijuana. The oxidative stresses caused by head injury, genetic disorders, and autoimmune diseases that typically lead to temporary or permanent neurological damage may be protected against or greatly reduced with the use of CBD oil.But what about using CBD oil preventatively? By utilizing CBD, this inflammation can be halted or reduced.The US government has recently labeled CBD not only as a neuroprotector, but as an antioxidant as well. These two titles are different, but after breaking it down, you will see that they are tied to one another. The brain accumulates excess glutamate over time, and this can lead to glutamate (a neurotransmitter) toxicity, which can destroy brain cells.
